Community Service

Lake Highlands Area Elementary Schools

We work with area elementary schools each year to provide immediate needs for their students. In past years we have worked with Aiken, Skyview, Forest Lane, Stultz, Thurgood Marshall, Northlake, and Wallace.

Refugee Services Texas

Refugee Services of Texas welcomes refugees, immigrants, and other displaced peoples and supports them in integrating and thriving in their new communities.

YoungLives

More than 25 years ago, Young Life answered God’s call to run headfirst into the chaos of teenage motherhood with the hope of Jesus … and YoungLives was born.

YoungLives has never wavered from the original vision to reach teen moms by entering their world, modeling the unconditional love of Christ, and encouraging them to become the women and mothers God created them to be. Through Young Life’s time-tested methods and life-on-life mentoring, teen moms are empowered to make positive choices, set and achieve goals, and live a future rooted in Christ.

In Lake Highlands we serve the teen moms at Lake Highlands HS and Conrad HS.

Lake Highlands Area Moms Against Racism

LHAMAR is committed to changing hearts, minds, circles, and systems to end racism and save lives. They Educate, Embolden, Empathize, Empower, Enfranchise, and Engage our communities.

LHHS Angels

Through the Lake Highlands Angels program, you can show some love to a high school student in need. We will collect items and gift cards for these students to make the holidays joyful.

Diversicare and Presbyterian Village

We spread joy at these senior living centers by Trick or Treating at Halloween, Caroling at Christmas and Distributing Valentines in February.

Pamper Lake Highlands

Pamper Lake Highlands’ mission is to empower women and children to break the cycle of generational poverty and oppression by sharing Jesus’ love through community support, education and resources.
